Meet Our Planty Team
Karli Heineman Founder/ CEO
Karli combined her lifelong passion for fashion, pop culture trends, and plants in the creation of Plant Vault, a destination for rare plants and inspired accessories. Plant Vault specializes in unique and often elusive plants from around the world, allowing plant lovers to see them in person, often for the first time, and pairs them with fashion-forward clothing, jewelry, and gardening accessories. Karli’s vision for Plant Vault is to be a center for plant culture and community where everyone can engage around their passion for plants. Plant Vault is founded on the belief that rare and exotic plants can be an attainable luxury that makes a personal statement far beyond common garden centers and home improvement stores.
A creative marketer and public relations professional with decades of experience working in fashion, entertainment, and hospitality, Karli has used her vision of combining life’s passions to engage with the entertainment industry’s biggest stars while working on feature films and on award shows, including the Academy Awards. She has also overseen engagement for thousands of showrooms for top fashion brands, and promoted many of Los Angeles’ premier restaurants and nightclubs.
Andre Caminite / Director of Operations
Andre is a digital marketing expert who joined Plant Vault with a decade of experience branding and marketing a wide range of companies. Andre is also at the forefront of plant science and has become an expert in everything from tissue cultures, cloning, to disease identification and mitigation.
As a self-professed “plant addict” Andre has accumulated more than 150 plants in his personal collection and that number continues to grow by the day.
Sarah Hersping / Store Manager
Meet Sarah Hersping, our Store Manager at Plant Vault. With a background in social media management, podcasting, and serving as General Manager at Ocean Socials, Sarah brings a wealth of experience to our team. She's the driving force behind our operations, ensuring that Plant Vault runs smoothly and efficiently, while also curating engaging content and fostering a vibrant community around our brand. Sarah's dedication and passion for plants make her an invaluable asset to our team, and she's committed to providing our customers with exceptional service and an unforgettable plant shopping experience.
Aubriel Duncan / Shipping Manager
Aubriel Duncan brings a wealth of experience to her role as Shipping Manager at Plant Vault. With a background as a retail stylist at Mejuri jewelry and Petco Park, where she handled giveaways, product organization, and managed full-time concerts, Aubriel's diverse skill set ensures smooth operations in our shipping department. Known for her kindness and attention to detail, Aubriel meticulously packages each plant with loving care, ensuring that every shipment arrives safely and beautifully presented.
Ava Tribe / Product Manager
Ava is currently completing her degree in Environmental Science while working at Plant Vault. Her vast knowledge of plant care and gardening, mixed with her enviable fashion sense made her the perfect candidate to launch Plant Vault’s accessories division. When she isn’t working, you will find her playing the piano, creating succulent arrangements and generally being a compassionate human being in tune with mother nature.
