The Philodendron Golden Crocodile is provided in a 6” pot. It exhibits leaves with deeply toothed edges that transition from a bronze tint when new to a golden-yellow hue as they mature, with older leaves sometimes becoming lime green. This change in coloration is a consistent characteristic of the plant as it develops over time.
For optimal growth, place the plant in a location that receives bright, indirect light, ideally within three feet of an east or west-facing window. Allow the top inch or two of potting mix to dry before watering, as the plant is sensitive to overwatering. Average to above-average indoor humidity is recommended to support proper leaf development. If desired, the plant can be supported with a moss pole to climb or enjoyed as a self-heading specimen. Light feedings with a general-purpose houseplant fertilizer during the spring and summer can further promote healthy growth.
